OnSite Dental FAQ

Q: What is full service dental care?

A: We provide a comprehensive suite of general dentistry, with procedures ranging from exams, x-rays, cleanings, fillings, crowns, gum disease treatment, root canals, extractions – even whitening and Invisalign. Also, we can refer patients to other doctors that we work closely with and have carefully chosen as specialists for procedures that are complex and/or require general sedation.

Q: What credentials do your dentist have?

A: We use a rigorous process for selecting affiliated dentists and care teams (hygienists, dental assistants, and practice managers) with outstanding clinical credentials and experience.

Q: What is evidence-based dentistry?

A: Our affiliated dentists and clinical leadership are committed to practicing evidence-based dentistry, including a rigorous quality assurance and chart review process that is difficult for individual dental practices to perform.

Q: Do you accept insurance?

A: We act just like any in-network dental office, so insurance coverage applies as it would at any in-network dental office. We accept U-Haul’s Delta Dental plan and most major PPO insurances like Cigna, Aetna and more.

Q: What can one expect during their first visit?

A: Before your first visit, we request you enter your dental insurance during your online booking process and complete your registration. Once inside our practice, your overall dental and oral health will be accessed with a comprehensive oral evaluation. Depending on your dental history, a series of digital x-rays may be required as determined by our dental team, you will also be receiving a cleaning. A patient’s first visit is 90 minutes. Each cleaning visit there after is 60 minutes.

Q: How do patient records get transferred or received in advance of care?

A: A patient will either ask their previous dentist to send us their medical records in advance of visiting us, or the patient will let us know in advance and we will work with their previous dentist to obtain their records.

Q: Where can I find Onsite Dental?

A: Our mobile practice will be located next to the Healthier You Clinic at the Shoen Family Conference & Fitness Center (45 E. Roanoke Ave. STE 100 Phoenix, AZ 85004).
