Healthier You Clinic FAQ

Q: Who can access the Healthier You Clinic?

A: The Healthier You Clinic is available to full time team members and their dependents who are enrolled in the U-Haul Company Medical Plan (UCMP). Full time team members who are not enrolled in the UCMP are also eligible, regardless of your insurance provider.

Q: How do I pay for my visit?
A: Debit/credit or HSA card.
Q: What is the cost?

A: Team members and dependents on the U-Haul Company Medical Plan 

  • Preventative Visits = $0
  • Non-preventative visits and physical therapy = $25 
  • Onsite Dispensed Medications = $0 per medication

 Full time team members within their 90 days of service regardless of insurance 

  •  All visits, including physical therapy = $50 
  •  Onsite Dispensed Medications = $25 per medication 

 Full time team members after 90 days of service but opted out of the U-Haul Company Medical Plan 

  •  All visits, including physical therapy = $25 
  •  Onsite Dispensed Medications = $25 per medication 

Q: What if I do not have active team member health insurance? Is the Healthier You Clinic still available to me?

A: Yes, all full-time team members have access to the Healthier You Clinic.

Q: Will U-Haul know why I see the doctor or anything that happens during my medical or PT visits?

A: NO! Your information is protected and all Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) guidelines and rules are followed. Federal law protects the privacy of personal health information collected by healthcare providers, health plans, hospitals, and clinics. U-Haul will not and does not have access to any of your medical records or records of any treatment you may receive at the Center.

U-Haul has contracted with Premise Health as the third-party vendor to provide medical services in the Healthier You Clinic onsite in the Shoen Family Conference and Fitness Center.

When you step inside the health center your visit(s) will be kept confidential between you and your doctor.

Q: Can I use the health center for my primary care?
A: Yes! We encourage it!
Q: I have an issue with the clinic, a provider, or a recommendation/suggestion. Who can I talk to?

Q: Does my lab draw at the center count toward my deductible?

A: For those that are on the U-Haul Company Medical Plan, all labs drawn in the clinic and sent out to our in-network lab provider will count toward your deductible. If you have an alternative insurance provider, this will be an out-of-pocket expense not counted towards your deductible. You can submit your receipt to your insurance provider to determine if they will reimburse you for the cost.

Q: Can we still go to our current doctor?
A: Yes. However, the cost of your care will be more expensive. The Healthier You Clinic saves time and money!
Q: How do I schedule an appointment?
A: You can call the clinic at 623-552-3745. You can also use the My Premise Health online portal to schedule, but first, you need to register as a new patient.
Q: Are preventive services covered at the Healthier You Clinic?

A: The clinic providers can provide well-woman and well-man physicals, along with sports, school, and camp physicals. All preventive services listed in the U-Haul Company Medical Plan are still free to team members.
